Large Garage / Workshop

My husband had a large workshop / garage put on the property when we bought it a few years back. He has so many tools and basic "man stuff" we could never find a place for a all the stuff he keeps in here. The garage has a wood stove for heat and we use a window unit for air in the summer. I will try to post a picture of the inside today.

Original Hand Rail

This is my son Walter #19 on the Shoals D Backs. Notice the hand rail, it is the original so it is somewhere over 100 years old. I am still working on the paint in the foyer and hope to have it done soon.

It rained here all day so I came home from church and took a very long nap, the sound of that rain hitting the tin roof is so soothing!

Estate Sales and Window View

Today I went to 3 Estate Auctions and the only thing I bought was a hot dog! The crowds were out and the bidding was high, not a good day to get a good deal. I went with the intentions of buying a new desk for my office and hoping to find a few good deals on things to resale, no luck today.

For those of you that aren't sure what an Estate Auction is, it is a sale where the personal property and contents of the house are sold to the highest bidder and the house is sold separately. In our area this is a big weekend thing. Today there were over 25 to choose from. Obviously I chose the wrong ones :)

Haven't done anything towards the selling of my house today but I am sharing a picture of the view from the dining room window. I am using this room as my office but it is intended to be a dining room.

Little League in My Neighborhood

Coach Ricky Cain talks to the boys before starting in this tournament game at White Plains. Notice that nice mountain view in the back ground, just another reason why this is a beautiful area :)
#18 #19 are my boys Walter and Garnett

I have recently decided to sell my own house so I am going to do a blog as we are getting the house ready for the market. I will post new pictures each day and give a short description on our 'home sweet home'.
